S:t Johannes congregation is located in the heart of the vibrant city life, surrounded by neighborhoods such as Triangeln, Möllevången, Sorgenfri, and Sofielund. Here, you will find several cultural institutions, authorities, schools, and free churches. S:t Johannes has a clear profile as a cultural, diversity, and music congregation that offers a wide variety of meetings, concerts, discussions, and has several open church spaces right in the center.

We are looking for a committed and experienced assistant pastor for our congregation. You will work with a variety of tasks within the church's core activities and in close collaboration with other staff and congregation members. With us, you will have the opportunity to develop both yourself and the organization.

You will be employed as an assistant pastor for the entire Sankt Johannes congregation, based at Sankt Johannes Church. Within the congregation, there are three churches: Sankt Johannes, Sankt Matteus, and Sankt Pauli.

As an organist in Sankt Johannes congregation, you will work with choirs and music in worship services. You will be based at Sankt Matteus Church, where you will focus on the established choir ladder and worship life. In addition, you will also serve and contribute musically and collegially to the life of the congregation's other two churches. You are expected to serve at church ceremonies and be an integral part of the congregation's confirmation work.

S:t Matteus Church has been working for several years to create a Sunday service where music, choir life, worship hosts, children's church, prayers, and the subsequent soup lunch form a whole that characterizes the entire week and all categories of staff. The congregation wants to continue developing and deepening this work.

• Organist degree at least at B level.

• Motivated to further develop worship and worship life from a church music perspective.

• Interest in working with the established choir ladder and enjoys leading choirs of different age groups.
